Scope: Sensory Paths use a process that develops to reduce sensory seeking behaviors and increase cognition. Sensor Paths address visual motor, balance, strength, body awareness. The materials will be utilized in the ELT (4) schools.

Resolution:

WHEREAS, the vendor listed is the Sole Source vendor from New York State contracts that may be used by the Yonkers Public Schools under the current Yonkers Board of Education Policy and New York State General Municipal Law, and
WHEREAS the Board of Education authorizes the Superintendent of Schools to enter into an agreement with The Sensory Path Inc. to purchase these goods, and
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED: That the Board of Education hereby authorizes the Superintendent of Schools to enter into an agreement with The Sensory Path Inc. at a cost not to exceed $13,720.00
It is acknowledged and agreed that pursuant to the terms of that certain intermunicipal agreement by and between the City of Yonkers Board of Education (“BOE”) and the City of Yonkers (the “City”) as filed in the Office of the City Clerk on June 16, 2014, the terms of this agreement are subject to review and revision by the Corporation Counsel, as well as approval by the City’s Board of Contract and Supply. Furthermore, this Agreement shall not be enforceable until signed by both parties and approved by the Corporation Counsel’s Office.
