Amount: $ 443,543.00
Scope: Agreement with Catapult Learning to provide Title I customized small-group instructional services in reading and math to eligible students in selected non-public schools and to also provide parent engagement materials and activities as per the Title I federal guidelines. Catapult Learning will provide professional development services to selected non-public schools as requested in consultation with the LEA, and ADNY Superintendents and Regional Superintendent. In addition, Catapult, under the subcontractor, Montage Diversity Consultants, will provide counseling and social work services in order to improve the health and well-being of children and families of the Archdiocese of New York Non-Public schools.

Resolution: WHEREAS the Board of Education wishes to enter into a contract with Catapult Learning to purchase consulting services to provide Title I supplemental instructional services to eligible students in selected non-public schools. Catapult Learning will also provide parent engagement materials and activities as per the Title I federal guidelines and will also provide professional development services,instructional tutorial services and counseling services to selected non-public schools for the 2019-2020 school year,

WHEREAS the district administration has designed in conjunction with Catapult Learning a program which meets the objectives set forth by the Board and the New York State Education Department, and,

WHEREAS the Board of Education authorizes the Superintendent of Schools to enter into an agreement with Catapult Learning to provide these services, and

NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED: That the Board of Education hereby authorizes the Superintendent of Schools to enter into an agreement with Catapult Learning at a cost not to exceed $443,543.00

It is acknowledged and agreed that pursuant to the terms of that certain intermunicipal agreement by and between the City of Yonkers Board of Education (“BOE”) and the City of Yonkers (the “City”) as filed in the Office of the City Clerk on June 16, 2014, the terms of this agreement are subject to review and revision by the Corporation Counsel, as well as approval by the City’s Board of Contract and Supply. Furthermore, this Agreement shall not be enforceable until signed by both parties and approved by the Corporation Counsel’s Office.
