Rationale:
|
Via Resolution 18.9 at their stated meeting on February 27, 2019 the Board of Trustees awarded the task of the “Educational Facilities Plan Update” to KG&D in the amount of $28,500.00.
This amendment is to add reimbursable expenses for KG&D which includes an updated demographic study and printing costs which were not included in the original proposal. Printing cost for color Educational Facilities Plan books totaled $4,970.77 and Demographic Study totaled $13,000.00 for a total of $17,970.77.

Ladies and Gentlemen:
WHEREAS: Via Resolution 18.9 at their stated meeting on February 17, 2019 the Board of Trustees, under contract 619182, awarded KG&D Architects, PC the Capital Fund Task “Educational Facilities Plan Update”.
WHEREAS: an amendment is required reimbursables expenses for a demographic study and printing color Educational Facilities Plan Books, and

WHEREAS: work as defined under that contract is required for the Educational Facilities Plan Update, and
WHEREAS: an amendment is required to include additional services to the Education Facilities Plan Update,
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED: That the Superintendent of Schools is hereby authorized to appoint KG&D Architects, 285 Main Street, Mt. Kisco, New York 10549, to the task of providing professional Architectural/Engineering for the Capital Fund Task “Educational Facilities Plan Update” for an additional amount of $17,970.77, increasing the PO #2019-00006569 amount of $28,500.00 to 46,470.77 under Contract No. 617160, “Architectural & Engineering Services for the School Facilities Management Department”.
