Resolution:

WHEREAS the Board of Education, pursuant to a competitively solicited bid, wishes to enter into a contract with Fisher Scientific Company, LLC; VWR International, LLC DBA Ward's Science Brand; and Sempco, Inc. for one time purchase of science materials to support Regents level Biology and Earth & Space classrooms. This material is necessary to complete the NYSED required science investigations for the 2024-2025 school year,
WHEREAS the district issued a line item bid for science material for Regents level Biology and Earth and Space classrooms and now wishes to award the bid on a line item basis to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder(s) Fisher Scientific Company, LLC; VWR International, LLC DBA Ward's Science Brand; and
Sempco, and,
WHEREAS the Board of Education authorizes the Superintendent of Schools to enter into an agreement with Fisher Scientific Company, LLC; VWR International, LLC DBA Ward's Science Brand; and Sempco, Inc. to purchase these materials, and
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED: That the Board of Education hereby authorizes the Superintendent of Schools to enter into an agreement at a cost not to exceed with Fisher Scientific Company, LLC at $29,731.25, VWR International, LLC DBA Ward's Science Brand at $8,969.00 and Sempco, Inc. at $5,301.20.
