Rationale:

This resolution is to grant the administration the authority to execute the subject purchase as per the attached COY Purchasing Request for Quotes issued November 6, 2019. There were four proposers. Sam Tell & Son was the apparent lowest quote received at $14,205 but indicated the lead time for them is 30 days from receipt of PO just to get it in stock. Purchasing has indicated that Chef’s Depot at $14,856.80 is $651.20 higher but can have the units on site in 7 to 10 business days. It is recommended that the second low bid (Chef’s Depot) be accepted. The new oven is anticipated to be in operation on or about December 14, 2019. The work will be overseen by Food Services and School Facilities.
