Scope: Hudson River Health Care will develop a comprehensive school-based health center (SBHC) at Cross Hill Academy. The SBHC will provide or make available comprehensive primary medical, social, mental health and health education services designed to meet with psychosocial and physical needs of students within the context of the family, culture, and environment.

Resolution: WHEREAS the Board of Education wishes to enter into a contract with Hudson River Health Care, Inc. to purchase consulting services to support the development of a comprehensive school-based health center (SBHC) at Cross Hill Academy for the 2017-2018 school year,

WHEREAS the district administration has designed in conjunction with Hudson River Health Care, Inc., a program which meets the objectives set forth by the Board and the New York State Education Department, and,

WHEREAS the District has determined that these services can best be provided by Hudson River Health Care, Inc., and,

NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED: That the Board of Education hereby authorizes the Superintendent of Schools to enter into an agreement with Hudson River Health Care, Inc. at a cost not to exceed $93,000.

It is acknowledged and agreed that pursuant to the terms of that certain intermunicipal agreement by and between the City of Yonkers Board of Education (“BOE”) and the City of Yonkers (the “City”) as filed in the Office of the City Clerk on June 16, 2014, the terms of this agreement are subject to review and revision by the Corporation Counsel, as well as approval by the City’s Board of Contract and Supply. Furthermore, this Agreement shall not be enforceable until signed by both parties and approved by the Corporation Counsel’s Office.
