Rationale:
|
This is to award an Equipment Capital PO for six new 30 cubic yard dumpsters to WasteQuip Manufacturing Company, L.L.C., under Sourcewell Purchasing Consortium Contract No. 040621-WQI for $71,394.15. Sourcewell is a purchasing cooperative that is accessible by the District.
This to provide clean, safe and lockable dumpsters at Gorton, Lincoln, Boyce Thompson, Riverside, School 24 and YMA in response to the City DPW.

Ladies and Gentlemen:
WHEREAS: in consult with the City DPW it has been determined that the existing refuse receptacles at Gorton, Lincoln, Boyce Thompson, Riverside, School 24 and Yonkers Montessori Academy should be replaced in-kind with new units, and
WHEREAS: such items are available from WasteQuip Manufacturing Company for $71,394.15 under contract with Sourcewell Purchasing Consortium (Contract No. 040621-WQ a cooperative purchasing organization accessible to the District.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED: that the Purchase Order for the procurement of six (6) 30 cubic yard refuse receptacles be issued to WasteQuip Manufacturing Company, 1079 State Route 20, New Lebanon, NY 12125 for a term of 180 calendar days.
