Term: No change in contract term.
Amount: $50,000.00
Scope: School Facilities is requesting Amendment 3 to increase Contract 2022-0796 aggregate by $50,000.00 to provide continued service repairs of electric motors and pumps. There are existing motors and pumps that have exceeded their useful life and are in need of repairs/replacement. This is a time and materials-based contract, on an as needed basis. There is no change to the contract term.

Resolution:

WHEREAS by Resolution 16.4 dated April 20, 2022, the Board of Education authorized the award of Contract 2022-0796 to A&C Furia Electric Motors, Inc for $22,125.00 and a term of 365 calendar days, and
WHEREAS additional work under said contract includes, but is not limited to, the repair/replacement of the pumps and motors throughout the District, and
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED: That the Board of Education hereby authorizes the Superintendent of Schools to issue Amendment 3 to Contract 2022-0796 “Service and Repair of Electric Motor & Pumps” to A&C Furia Electric Motors, Inc for $50,000.00, increasing the contract to $144,250.00 with no change in contract term.
