Rationale:
|
This resolution is to authorize the Superintendent of Schools to extend for one year Contract 2017-175 with Rapid Pump and Meter Service Co., Inc. It was originally awarded via Board Resolution 18.4 at stated meeting on October 19, 2016. This is an “on call” type service contract wherein all work is District directed and paid for under contract bid prices for labor and materials.
This contract provides a means to extend by mutual consent of the parties annually for one additional year under the same terms and conditions as bid. This is the first extension.

Ladies and Gentlemen:
WHEREAS: as a result of an examination of the bids and backup documentation submitted, the administration determined that the responsive and lowest responsible bidder to be Rapid Pump and Meter Service Co, Inc., with a bid of $115,000.00
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED: That the award for RFB 6067-Electric Motor and Pump Repair Service Contract be made to Rapid Pump and Meter Service Co, Inc., PO Box AY, 285 Straight Street, Paterson N.J. 07509 in amount not to exceed $115,000.00 for a term of 365 calendar days.
