Scope: In support of the P-TECH (Pathways in Technology Early College High School) grant program at Charles E. Gorton High School, CS Educational Services, LLC (D.B.A.: thinkLaw) will provide 10 subscriptions for teachers working within the medical magnet, which includes unlimited downloads from a catalog of 500+ lessons and activities, live virtual professional learning sessions, and self-paced implementation support resources. The subscription is valid through June 30, 2025.

Resolution
WHEREAS the Board of Education wishes to enter into a contract with thinkLaw to purchase consulting services to support of the P-TECH (Pathways in Technology Early College High School) grant program at Charles E. Gorton High School, CS Educational Services, LLC (D.B.A.: thinkLaw) will provide 10 subscriptions for teachers working within the medical magnet, which includes unlimited downloads from a catalog of 500+ lessons and activities, live virtual professional learning sessions, and self-paced implementation support resources for the 2024-2025 school year,

WHEREAS the district administration has designed in conjunction with thinkLaw a program which meets the objectives set forth by the Board and the New York State Education Department, and,

WHEREAS the Board of Education authorizes the Superintendent of Schools to enter into an agreement with thinkLaw to provide these services, and

NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED: That the Board of Education hereby authorizes the Superintendent of Schools to enter into an agreement with thinkLaw at a cost not to exceed $5,000.00.
