Rationale:
|
ORIGINALLY SUBMITTED FOR RESOLUTION ABSTRACT for RFB 6264; FOR MEAT, POULTRY AND DELI PRODUCTS FOR SCHOOL YEAR 2018-2019.
FOCUS POPULATION: Students, teachers and employees of the Yonkers City Schools.
CONTRACTOR: Lowest responsible bidder submitted to the Purchasing Department in compliance with General Municipal Law.
INCREASE OF CONTRACT NECESSARY Due to YPS entering Community Eligibility Provision (CEP) more students participated in the breakfast and lunch program than anticipated.
Original amount of the 2018-2019 Mivila award was $215,793.10. Award was previously increased twice to $479,576.10. The increase requested now is $60,367.81. Increase is necessary to render full payment for food purchased during the 2018-2019 school year.
Term of Contract: July 1, 2018 through June 30, 2019.
