Rationale:
|
This contract was awarded to Tri-State Partitions Inc., 608 Chestnut Ridge Rd., Chestnut Ridge, NY 10977 under NYS General Municipal Law 103 via Board Resolution 22.19 June 19, 2018 and is hereby being recommend for extension for the first additional year by mutual consent per the terms and conditions as provided by the contract.
Work is to include the SED mandated preventive maintenance and as well as District directed repairs to bleachers, folding partitions, backboards and other gymnasium features. |

|
Ladies and Gentlemen:
WHEREAS: bids were solicited and opened on April 27,2018 in compliance with General Municipal Law 103 for “Repair and Maintenance of Gym Equipment”, and
WHEREAS: Board Resolution 22.19, was approved on June 19, 2018, awarding this contract to Tri-State Partitions, Inc. in the amount of $98,150.00, and
WHEREAS: bid specifications provide for annual extensions by the mutual consent of both parties under the same terms and conditions of the original contract for up to two additional years, and
WHEREAS; the administration recommends the extension of this contract for the first additional year for a term of 365 days,
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED: That the Superintendent of Schools is hereby authorized to extend the “Maintenance and Repair of Gym Equipment” annual contract with Tri-State Folding Partitions, Inc., 608 Chestnut Ridge Rd., Chestnut Ridge, NY, in an amount not to exceed $98,150.00 for an additional term of 365 calendar days. |
