RE: Award on Milk and Milk Products-Cafeteria Department for School Year 2018-2019

Ladies and Gentlemen:

WHEREAS, bids for Milk and Milk Products were solicited and opened on April 13, 2018 in compliance with General Municipal Law and as a result of an examination of the bids submitted, the administration recommends the award to the lowest responsible bidder.

WHEREAS, Milk is a mandatory component of the student meal plan as authorized under the National School Lunch Program.

NOW THEREEFOR BE IT RESOLVED: That the award for Milk and Milk Products for School Year 2018-2019 be awarded as follows:
Cream O'Land Dairies, LLC $498,646.35

AND BE IT FURTHER BE RESOLVED: That the Board of Education authorizes the Superintendent of Schools to enter into a contract with the above named firm.
