Amount: $102,000.00
Scope: Agreement with Kids Allowed to amend its existing contract to provide 17 additional seats to the Yonkers Public Schools Prekindergarten students. This amendment represents an increase of $102,000.00 due to an increase in the number of students serviced. The total contract amount will be $210,000.00.

Resolution
|
WHEREAS the Board of Education wishes to amend its existing contract with Kids Allowed to provide 17 additional seats to the Yonkers Public Schools Prekindergarten students for the 2017-2018 school year. It is responsive to the District’s non-negotiable goal #1: Student Achievement.
WHEREAS this amendment represents an increase of $102,000.00 due to a rise in the number of students serviced, and
WHEREAS the following facilities have submitted requests respectfully to provide these prekindergarten services to students of the Yonkers Public Schools at the following costs: Kids Allowed of Yonkers $102,000.00.
WHEREAS the Yonkers Public Schools wish to provide more prekindergarten seats for students and families as required by New York State Universal Prekindergarten Regulations, and
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Superintendent of Schools is hereby authorized to enter into a contract with each of the above named organizations for the provision of these services at a total cost not to exceed the amount of $210,000.00 for the 17-18 school year.
It is acknowledged and agreed that pursuant to the terms of that certain intermunicipal agreement by and between the City of Yonkers Board of Education (“BOE”) and the City of Yonkers (the “City”) as filed in the Office of the City Clerk on June 16, 2014, the terms of this agreement are subject to review and revision by the Corporation Counsel, as well as approval by the City’s Board of Contract and Supply. Furthermore, this Agreement shall not be enforceable until signed by both parties and approved by the Corporation Counsel’s Office. |
