Mercy College Center for STEM Education Amendment #3 Term: 05/15/2019 - 8/31/2019 Amount: $25,000 Scope: This amendment will provide summer professional development and support for Yonkers middle school science summer learning lab. The NYSSLS Summer Learning Lab will include two full-day sessions with teachers and eight days of coaching and coteaching during the course of the 18-day summer program. This is an amendment to the existing contract of $70,860 (Resolution #19.5 BOE approved 11/20/18 and BOCS approved 11/29/18 and represents an increase of $25,000). The total contract amount will be $95,860. |

Resolution
|
WHEREAS the Board of Education wishes to enter into a contract with Mercy College Center for STEM Education Amendment #3 to provide summer professional development and support for Yonkers middle school science summer learning lab. The NYSSLS Summer Learning Lab will include two full-day sessions with teachers and eight days of coaching and coteaching during the course of the 18-day summer program for the 2018-2019 school year, WHEREAS the district administration has designed in conjunction with Mercy College Center for STEM Education Amendment #3 a program which meets the objectives set forth by the Board and the New York State Education Department, and, WHEREAS the Board of Education authorizes the Superintendent of Schools to enter into an agreement with Mercy College Center for STEM Education Amendment #3 to provide these services, and NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED: That the Board of Education hereby authorizes the Superintendent of Schools to enter into an agreement with Mercy College Center for STEM Education Amendment #3 at a cost not to exceed $25,000 It is acknowledged and agreed that pursuant to the terms of that certain intermunicipal agreement by and between the City of Yonkers Board of Education (“BOE”) and the City of Yonkers (the “City”) as filed in the Office of the City Clerk on June 16, 2014, the terms of this agreement are subject to review and revision by the Corporation Counsel, as well as approval by the City’s Board of Contract and Supply. Furthermore, this Agreement shall not be enforceable until signed by both parties and approved by the Corporation Counsel’s Office. |
