This resolution as required by Yonkers Public Schools- Board of Education is requesting the Board of Trustees' approval to increase (not to exceed $100,000) Academy Bus Company summer 2018 transportation contract amount for charter field trips and athletics activities (football/track/soccer) rendered during August 13-31,2018. |

Resolution
|
Whereas: The Yonkers Public Schools District provides pupil transportation services. The State Education Department allows school districts to extend contracts with current vendors, as per RFP 345.
Now therefore Be It Resolved: The transportation contracts totaling not to exceed $100,000 be awarded Summer 2018 transportation contracts to All County, First Mile Sqaure, Royal Coach Lines and Academy Bus Co. (Athletics activities and charter field trips). With an option to extend for an additional year through June 30, 2020.
And Be It Further Resolved: That in accordance with the terms and conditions of the contracts awarded, routes may be added, routes may be deleted and/or extended, allowing up to 40 days in the month of July and August 2018 and Saturdays if required and such modification are hereby approved on condition that no such modification may exceed 10% of the contract price set forth above without prior approval of the Board of Education.
And Be It Further Resolved: Yonkers Board of Education authorizes the Superintendent of Schools to enter into the transportation contract negotiations and agreements for the 2018 summer school, athletics activities and charter trips. Including both public and private/parochial school students. |
