These shades are for the replacement of all roll up shades in Palisades Prep. The existing shades are in extremely poor condition.
RFB6243 was let for public bid and opened on March 2, 2018. There were four bidders. The bids ranging from the winning bid of $ 27,900.40 to $55,108.00 |

|
Ladies and Gentlemen:
WHEREAS, the District desires that its schools have safe and operable window shades in all of its classrooms, and
WHEREAS, the shades in Palisade Preparatory School are their beyond useful life and need to be replaced, and
WHEREAS: bids were issued for public advertisement and opened on March 2, 2018 in compliance with General Municipal Law for Bid No. 6243 to remove and replace the Window Shades at Palisade Prep, and
WHEREAS: such bids were duly examined and as a result of this examination of the bids submitted, the administration has determined that Capco Shades Inc, is the lowest responsive and responsible bidder with a bid of $27,900.40 and
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED: that RFB 6243, to “Furnish and Install Window Shades Featuring Alkenz by Rollease or Yonkers Approved Equal” at Palisade Prep be awarded to Capco Shades Inc. 5 Westwood Court for an amount of $27,900.40 for a term of 180 calendar days. |
