Scope- The Bateria IV is a very recently released and sound measure of cognitive abilities and academic skills for use with our Spanish-dominant students. It can be an essential part of pinpointing learning problems in a manner consistent with the individual psychological evaluation, as prescribes in Regulations of the Commissioner of Education (200.1) This is the only sound and currently normed measure for this purpose that is available for use with our Spanish speaking children who are under the age of 6 and over the age of 17.
The Bateria IV testing kits with cases contain Cognitive Assessments and Record Forms used by our school psychologist to evaluate Spanish dominant students.

WEHREAS: the Board of Education of the City of Yonkers is required to provided evaluations to student of the Yonkers Public School District who are referred for learning problems and
WHEREAS:Riverside Assessments, LLC/Riverside Insights will supply 10 Bateria IV testing kits with case to the Yonkers Public Schools at the following cost not to exceed $20,714.18 and
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED: That the Board of Education hereby authorizes the Superintendent of Schools to Purchase of 10 Bateria IV Testing Kit with cases from Riverside Assessments, LLC/Riverside Insights for the said amount not to exceed $20,714.18 |
