FOOD SERVICE DEPARTMENT
RESOLUTION ABSTRACT:
FOR THE PURCHASE, DELIVERY, INSTALLATION OF COMMERICAL EQUIPMENT FOR THE KITCHENS OF VARIOUS YONKERS SCHOOLS CAFETERIAS. AND, FOR THE REMOVAL AND DISPOSAL OF OBSOLETE COMMERCIAL KITCHEN EQUIPMENT CURRENTLY IN VARIOUS YONKERS SCHOOLS CAFETERIAS.
FOCUS POPULATION: Students, teachers and employees for the Yonkers City School District.
ASSESSMENT PROCESS:
The vendor will furnish, deliver and install commercial kitchen equipment to the Yonkers City School District as specified in Schedule No. RFB-6265. Also specified is the removal and disposal of various obsolete pieces of commercial kitchen equipment.
CONTRACTOR: Lowest bid submitted to the Purchasing Department in compliance with General Municipal Law.

Ladies and Gentlemen:
WHEREAS, the bid for Commercial Kitchen Equipment was solicited and opened on April 20, 2018 in compliance with General Municipal Law and as a result of an examination of the bids submitted, the administration recommends the award to the lowest responsible bidders.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED: That the award for Commercial Kitchen Equipment be awarded as follows:
Chef’s Depot $130,851.17
TOTAL AWARD $130,851.17
AND BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED: That the Board of Education authorizes the Superintendent of Schools to enter into a contract with the above named firm. |
