|
As required by the State Education Department, the Board of Education acting as a lead agency must satisfy the requirements of State Environmental Quality Review Act (SEQRA).
For the listed project, the School Facilities Management Department has determined that the project listed is “TYPE II” action and require no further environmental review under SEQRA:

Ladies and Gentlemen:
WHEREAS: based upon the review by the Yonkers Board of Education of the proposed capital project set forth herein, the Yonkers Board of Education hereby finds that the Proposed action constitutes a “Type II Action” as such term is defined in the State Environmental Quality Review Act (SEQRA) and the Regulations of the Department of Environmental conservation of the State of New York (NYCRR Part 617), and
WHEREAS: the following project can be properly classified as TYPE II action:
Capital Improvement project 10825 “Site and Interior Restoration” at School 17.
NOW THERFORE BE IS RESOLVED that the above project be listed as TYPE II action under New York State SEQRA Law. |
