This resolution is to accept the donation of the following authentic musical instruments handmade in Burkina Faso in West Africa by Jack Eisenbach of Eisenbach & Ruhnke Engineering, The instruments will have home with the musical program at Yonkers Middle High School. Mr. Eisenbach has for many years volunteered his time and engineering expertise for work in Africa on humanitarian civil engineering projects such as water and power supply as well as hospital construction. His firm Eisenbach & Ruhnke Engineering PC, 291 Genesee Street, Utica, New York has had a successful record with the District for the past 10 years. The value of the instruments, if purchased in the United States is between $750.00 and $1,0000.00 |

Ladies and Gentlemen: WHEREAS: Mr. Jack Eisenbach President of Eisenbach and Ruhnke Engineering has generously donated 18 authentic musical instruments handmade in Burkina Faso in West Africa, and WHEREAS: These instruments will support the music program and the students of music at the Yonkers Middle High School. The value of the instruments, if purchased in the United States is between $750.00 and $1,0000.00 NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED: That the Board of Education and the Superintendent of Schools approve this donation from Mr. Eisenbach to the benefit of the students of Yonkers Middle High School music program. |
